Welcome to the largest lake in Phuket for elephant rescues.
Here at “The Lake” we try to save the elephants before they end up in logging or riding camps that will abuse them. Here, they will be given a new lease on a long and happy life.
There is “no riding” allowed here. So please do not ask!
By taking part in one of our programs, you will be helping to support our rescue efforts, and our goal of giving all elephants in need a happy home.
We keep our groups small so as not to cause any alarm or distress to the herd, and will only accept a maximum of 20 people per group. This way, you and our elephants can have a more peaceful experience.

07:15-08:30 / 11:15-12:30 Pick up from your hotel or accommodation in Phuket (if applicable – fees apply).
09:00 / 13:00 Arrive at The Lake Phuket Elephant Home. Welcome snack, tea/coffee, and introduction to our program.
Elephant care class. This is where you will learn all about the Asian elephant and its history
Prepare organic elephant food from the elephant's favorite fruits and vegetables.
Walk through the forest to locate our free-roaming elephants.
It's bath time. Bathe will the elephants in the lake, with it's mineral rich mud, scrub them up with mud, and then wash them down to help rejuvenate they're skin with much needed moisture.
Thai cooking class. Learn how to recreate your favorite Thai dishes at home with this brief but detailed class on a Thai classic.
12:00 / 16:00 Say goodbye to your new friends and return safely back to your hotel.
